FRUSTRATED WITH THE ENGLISH USAGE
 
I was just on Facebook this afternoon and saw a comment on Darryl Davis.  I cringed on people using “would of”.  I think they meant “would’ve” or “would have”.  Then another comment says “Thank you for your guideness.”  What is that?  Is that a new word?  I looked it up in the dictionary and there is no such thing.  My native tongue is not English and when I see unusual English usage, I look them up and cannot stand poor English usage and spelling.  I think we should learn how to write.  No wonder we are slowly deteriorating as a world class leader.  Where are the nuns at the Catholic School?  They will teach you how to write.
