Pay it Forward: You've Got a Friend in Me
Since moving to Franklin TN five years ago, we have been blessed with great friendships. My husband and I attend an Adults Sunday School class at The Peoples Church in Franklin. Many of the couples in that group are transplants here from other states. The majority of us do not have family in the area.
When medical emergencies come up, we don't have immediate family to help us get to doctor's appointments. One couple in particular has had more than their fair share of medical emergencies recently. My husband and I have been able to help this family by taking them to doctor's appointments or treatments.
It has been pure joy to serve these friends in this way. We know that sometime in the future, we may need this same help. This is a tribute to my dear friends.
