Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad Offering FREE Train Rides For Veterans! As long as you don't mind winding up right back at your starting place, how does a FREE train ride on the Lebanon Mason & Monroe Railroad sound to you?  Now this is a LIMITED time offer to honor veterans AND Active Duty military as Veteran's Day is fast approaching.
On Saturday November 12th they're offering a FREE one hour ride in Coach with proof of service.  Trains run at 10 a.m., 12 , 2 & 4 p.m., and boarding starts 10 minutes prior for a 1 hour train ride.  Just a heads up, no restrooms, heating or a/c on the trains, so plan accordingly!  Also NOT handicapped accessible due to the age of the trains!
The conductors will be sharing history of railroads and railroad operations, and LM&M Railroad will also have some military equipment and displays on hand for the day!  And to get you in the feel of the old time era, they'll be hosting a USO style dance from 7 - 10 p.m., with proceeds donated to the USO!
Cost for the non-military?  Adults $13, Seniors and kids 5-16 $8 and toddlers (2-4) $5.  Not ... more
