Chesterfield Missouri Real Estate Market Report - October 2011
 
October property sales were 27, down 28.9% from 38 in October of 2010.
October 2011 sales were at their lowest level compared to October 2010 and 2009.
October YTD sales of 379 are running 4.1% behind last year’ year-to-date sales of 395.
The total inventory of properties available for sale as of October was 399, down 4% from 353 in September 2011. 
A lower MSI (month’s supply of inventory) is more beneficial for sellers while a higher MSI is better for buyers.  The October 2011 MSI of 12.6 months was at its highest level compared with October 2010 and 2009.
When selling your home you must consider location, condition and price.  Location you can't do too much about, but you can do something about condition and price.
