Life Plan for 2012
Business Plans for the New Year are well in process for me, but it occurred to me that my Life Plans for 2012 and the New Year have been pushed to the back burner.
 
The premise is…..I work so that I can live…..and in a way that will keep me balanced and happy.  Sounds easy enough,…. but I find it increasingly difficult to carve out the time away from working, and living the life I envision for myself.
                                                                       
So, as I reflect on this past year and look forward to the New Year, I have decided to put some energy into developing my Life Plan for 2012.
 
At the top of my list is Learning to Listen…really listen to those who are closest to me without interruption.  All too often, I find myself responding to an email while taking quick glances at the husband who is trying to tell me something about his day.  He seldom complains, but if it were reversed, I think I ... more
