My First Red Tailed Hawk
I was so excited yesterday as I noticed this huge hawk sitting on my back fence. I went to get my camera but he spotted something to eat in the neighbor’s yard and he was gone in a flash! I went out front and there he was just sitting in my tree....waiting for me to take his picture!
He let me take about 10 photos and then flew off…..never to be seen again.

I like how you can see the white on tip of his tail feathers.

He was sitting so still for me. I also took his picture with my new camera but have to wait for that picture as I haven't downloaded the software yet!

 Here he is flying off.
