Hey Everybody today is Tuesday!
Hey everybody today is Tuesday, was the statement shouted from behind the counter at the Post Office this morning.

Most of us knew MLK was yesterday and no mail because of the legal holiday.  I went to
mail a certified letter to the State of Michigan and the clerk says, "This won't get there for a couple days".  I looked at him and he recognized that I had entered the "Twilight Zone"!  It only takes a day from here in the past did they close a distribution center and move it to Detroit, was my question.
The clerk clears out my request on his computer and re-enters the information and says..."nope won't arriveuntil Wednesday".  I say to my young Mayberry Post Office worker..."today is Tuesday".  
The Mona Lisa could not have had a more dry smile, then he blurts out, "hey everybody today is Tuesday, in case you have to redo your shipping tickets".
We smiled and I went on my way, with a little grin to myself, I had been writing the 16th on my reports and memos all morning long!  Who was really in the twilight zone?
