The whole town came out to honor this young man who gave his life so that we could have the freedom we enjoy everyday.There were threats of protesters, but our Law Enforcement, The Patriot Guards and our Veterans was out in full force!!Here is a statement from our Sheriff John Root posted on Face Book!
John Root First let me say R.I.P. Dustin Napier. No protesters showed up at this heroes funeral. I probably made some people mad with the statement I made last date about putting these people on the road, I would tell you that I'm sorry but I would only be lieing.I want to thank the Patriot Guard who made a awesome showing today, all the Veterans,the London Police Department, all the area fire -departments,A...mbulance service and everyone else that was there to support and protect this hero.I also want to thank my staff for their showing and dedication as they always seem to make me proud!!! I will end with this........I'm very proud of this County,Laurel County comes together when a crisis ... more
