Are you a realtor or a REALTOR®?
I really, really hate when people refer to real estate agents as "realtors" because we are NOT all Realtors®, and furthermore, many consumers are not aware that the term "realtor" is NOT synonymous with "real estate agent". My big pet peeve are the real estate shows on HGTV that constantly refer to all real estate agents as Realtors®. Well, my friend, if you're a REALLY a real REALTOR®, you should be wearing a blue "R" label pin! We don't want home buyers and sellers to think you're simply an ordinary real estate agent when in fact you are part of the biggest professional association AND you uphold the highest ethics of the National Association of Realtors®.
