February is National Heart Health Month

 
 
 
February is always known for Valentines but also as Heart Health Month. Everyday we work hard and try to squeeze all we can do in a day but we need to take time out for ourselves. We had a Sales Counselor here in Cinco Ranch that was too busy to take time out to go get checked even though  she was in excruciating pain; by the time she finally went to the doctor the test they concluded she had had a heart attack; she then had surgery; she was lucky her heart attack did not kill her.
 
The National Institute of Health states that 1 out of 4 women die from heart disease. It is the #1 killer of both men and women in the United States.
 
Heart disease can strike at any age, no one is immune. Please go to the doctor immediately if you have any of the following:
 
                        ***   Shortness of breath
                        Persistent Coughing
                        Swelling in your feet or ankles, legs, or abdomen
                                Rapid weight gain
                                Tiredness or fatigue
                                 Lack of appetite or nausea
                        Confusion, impaired thinking or impaired ... more
