Deck the Halls with Realtor Cars
As the season for decorating Christmas trees, houses with lights, and glorious displays in shopping malls comes upon us I got to thinking about those wild cars I see many Realtors have. Is this branding thing getting worse in slower markets or are the egos getting so large many are just driving around with a billboard on wheels?
I mean some of these Real Estate agents really want you to pay attention. Afterall they have demanding sellers that after nine months on the market want to know their agent is doing everything possible for them for a buyer to pick up the phone or email them to make contact. I'm starting to think moving from decals with the broker's hot air balloons to covering the complete back window and painting the entire car is getting very committed in this area. Or should the agent be "committed" to an institution with the men in the white jackets?
Don't you wonder how they ever re-sell these vehicles whether they be the agent's own touring personal one or the moving vans they buy with their picture plastered all over the sides and back?
Do any of us think this really helps sell homes faster or make a better agent? I must ... more
