Baby Boomers & Strong Views on Enduring Excellence
Baby Boomers are known for holding strong views. . . .and according to current research, that is so especially when it comes to insisting on enduring excellence.
Taking measure. . .maybe that is because at just about the time we were coming of age, the world-at-large was replete with issues that impacted our perspectives and changed the way we see the world, forever. We were not very old when John Kennedy was assassinated…but we were old enough to still take a deep breath each time we think of where we were when we heard the news.
Baby Boomers are known for holding strong views ... (<- poll here)What is a “strong view”?. . .an opinion closely held and immensely valued?. . .Is it also more? Something we see out of our windows? A bird in flight in the forest? The ocean frothing in the storm? ....the Blue Earth. . . seen at a distance?

Again...taking measure. . .Most of us entertain strong opinions colored by feelings or bias. I am passionate about the idea of stewardship, for example. Maybe this passion arose from the amazement of seeing the Blue Earth from Space.
