Catholic Families in Chestermere Now Have a Home Church.
Saint Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Parish was officially dedicated on November 11, 2007. The Pastor is Father Maciej Wos S.D.S. The Parish is located at 316 Windermere Drive. Services are held at Saint Gabriel School with a Sunday mass at 11:00 a.m. An additional Sunday Mass will be offered at 5p.m on Saturdays, beginning Feb. 2, 2008. Currently in Chestermere there is one Catholic school for K-12 and another school is scheduled to open this year in Rainbow Falls.   Our Lady of Wisdom students are being housed temporarily at St. Gabriel School in Westmere and will remain until the portable school is completed.
