Wynken Of Wynken Blynken and Nod - The Rest Of The Story

Two weeks ago the phone rings, it's a longtime friend, neighbor and fellow Realtor. He tells me he's getting ready to leave on a trip and needs my help to deal with three unexpected problems.
He was taking the garbage out to the four family container in the alley where he discovered three very small kittens. Someone had put them in the garbage can.
I brought the kittens home. My husband and I cleaned them and began feeding them kitten formula every four hours using a miniature bottle specifically designed for this purpose. It's amazing what you can find at Pet Smart. As it turned out the kittens were less than 14 days old.
All three were incredibly cute and had totally different personalities. One could only blink one eye at a time, one kitten would blink both eyes every time she meowed and one kitten spent his time sleeping except when he was eating. My husband named them Wynken, Blynken and Nod.
After a couple of days we were able to find a very nice lady, Sheila, who rescues kittens, (who require bottle feeding), and she agreed to take care of Wynken, Blynken and Nod until permanent homes could ... more
