I Don't Get It! I Just Don't
I don't get it - I really don't! Where is the commitment? Has anyone had this happen to them? Or am I the only one?
I've been selling real estate since 1990. I have plenty of past clients, many of them  2, 3, 4 even 5 times past clients. Then, all of a sudden, out of the blue, a client that I have, (I have even spoken to them within the last 5 months,) ups and decides to list their home without me.  (I actually just left a message on their recorder in February.) What is this phenomenon? What possesses sellers to do this? Do they just forget I’m out there?
It’s not a relocation, it’s not bank owned, there’s no visible conditions. You know how sometimes you know a deal didn’t work out quite right, and you wonder if they’ll come back to you – that wasn’t even the case with these people – we had a great relationship and they even referred me to other family members. It just bursts your balloon, lets the wind out of your sails….I know I gotta let it go and move on, but it isn’t easy.
