During the summer months an extremely well attended function is the Sunday afternoon concert series which are followed by free ice cream. It's just a simple, old fashioned, but very relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon. However, you will enjoy it most if you like music and ice cream.

Kings Park Band of Springfield plays for and entertains at many community events. Their concerts are free but they welcome community support.
