60's Fun: Boeing Boeing at Addison's WaterTower Theatre
First it was a French play. Then it was made into a movie with Jerry Lewis and Tony Curtis. Now it's back on stage at Addison's WaterTower Theatre in Addison, Texas.
Boeing Boeing is the tale of an enterprising young architect who juggles multiple fiancées in Paris, France in 1968 in this high comedy.
Bernard, played by Ashley Wood, has his hands full trying to keep his three stewardesses from finding out about each other. He is helped by his friend Robert (Andy Baldwin). Lula Ward plays Bertha, the put-upon housekeeper caught in the middle of Bernard's schemes. The stews are played by Emily Scott Banks (Gabriella), Sherry Hopkins (Gloria), and Morgan McClure (Gretchen). All is well until the advent of high speed jet airliners allowing the flight attendants more time with their intended.
The play runs through Sunday, June 17, 2012.
