Sad but true slip-up from the President of Ukraine
Last famos slip-up from Ukrainian President. It could be very funny if wasn't so sad. I found this video on youtube and Yanukovich speaks about readiness in Ukraine for EURO 2012. In Ukrainian language word "safe" sounds like "nebezpechna". And word "unsafe" is "bezpechna".
So... In this youtube video he says: "...это нужно сделать накануне Евро 2012. Не только, уважаемые коллеги. Не только... Мы считаем вообще, что территорию нашей страны нужно сделать небезопасной для жизни наших граждан. А безусловно, когда к нам поедут гости, тем более.".
Which is exactly means: "It must be done before of the Euro 2012. Not only that, ladies and gentlemen. Not only ... We believe in general that the territory of our country to do unsafe for living of our citizens. And certainly, when guests will arrive, even more so."
