A few days ago, we posted a summary of Ameriprise Financial, one of a fairly large number of prominent corporations involved in finance and related industries.  Minnesota is also home to TCF Financial Corporation (TCB), the publicly traded bank holding company that operates as TCF Bank.  TCF Bank is a national bank with over $17 billion in assets and over 400 branches throughout the United States, and commercial inventory finance business in both the US and Canada. 
This bank touts its conservative underwriting and a well-diversified loan and lease portfolio as contributing factors to its continued success.  Founded in 1923 and located in Wayzata, MN, TCF is a prominent member of Minnesota's robust business community.   While not nearly the largest bank calling Minnesota its home, TCF has a solid track record, and it is another example of Minnesota's great corporate citizens.
