The Longest Day of The Year... Summer rushes in this evening at 7:09 EDT and with it there is sure to be more hot temperatures for the rest of the season. In Clarksville TN, our summer will be hot, but the selection of homes for sale is plentiful. What better time to buy while the market has hot properties and sizzling low interest rates?
Spring proved to be the Wamest Spring On Record. So with Summer upon us, The Longest Day of The Year has now arrived.
What do we have to look forward to in the way of weather forecasts? The NOAA, National Oceanic Atmospheric Association gives us some insight on what we should expect in the way of temperatures. Much of the South, Central South and Southwest will have above normal temperatures. Drought condtions will be spotty with the Southwest experiencing the greatest drought coverage.
Water restrictions are already in place in some parts of the country. Other parts are hoping the extreme heat will not impact them. Meantime, area farmers are taking advantage of The Longest Day of The Year to work their crops, praying that they get just the right amount of rain, sunshine and moderate temperatures to bring a good harvest.
