Woof Woof!  After months of hard work and fundraising, the Pine Knoll Shores Dog Park Club is proud to announce the Grand Opening of the "Canine Veterans Memorial Park" in Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina, on June 30, 2012.  
The new Dog Park is located behind Pine Knoll Shores Town Hall at 100 Municipal Circle in PKS, adjacent to the existing Veterans Memorial Park.  The dog park was constructed by volunteers with funds donated by private citizens and local businesses.
To use the park, you must become a member of the PKS Bark Park Club.  Cost of membership is only $35 per year for each member/family (the dues will assist with maintenance of the park) and is available to residents and homeowners in Pine Knoll Shores.  You may pick up an application at PKS Town Hall, or you can also find it online at http://www.townofpks.com/.  You must complete the membership application, along with signing the Acceptance of Responsibility & Risk and the Release of Liability Form (also available online).  When you are ready to submit your application, you must also provide a copy of Rabies Certification for each dog that will be ... more
