Union County NC Neighborhoods--Barrington
If you take a drive past horse farms and rolling hills, you’ll find the Union County NC neighborhood of Barrington.  Barrington is set among the grand estates along Bonds Grove Church Road in Waxhaw, a historic Union County small town.
Barrington is a new home community that is nearly finished.  A great place to find a reasonably priced full-brick home, Barrington has homes priced into the mid-$300,000s.  Construction began in the neighborhood in 2006, slowed during the recession, and then picked up again in the past two years.  Shea Homes is Barrington’s builder.
Community amenities in Barrington include a two swimming pools and walking trails.  Nearby downtown Waxhaw offers restaurants, shopping, a farmers market and community festivals throughout the year.

Thirteen homes closed in Barrington in 2011.  Almost 85% of these homes were new construction.  There were no distressed sales in the neighborhood in 2011.
