Continuing our vacation in Moab, Utah, our boys and I hiked to the Delicate Arch in Moab, Utah Wednesday morning. We left at 6 am in an attempt to avoid the 100+ degree day time temps. It worked, as it was barely 90 when we finished. The hike is over three miles and part of that is up pretty step rock and sandstone. But it was worth the trip. The Delicate Arch has stood as sort of a symbol of the state of Utah, even gracing the state's license plates, and is such a unique natural, geological phenomenon. We have explored other arches at the park on previous vacations but this is the first time we went all the way to this one.
