Big Talk Is Easy Without Skin In The Game  
 
 
Have you ever noticed how advisors to buyers (or sellers) can talk “big” when they don’t have anything at risk. While I’m certain they mean to be helpful, playing brinkmanship when there are zero consequences to the advisor, doesn’t really make for very good advice.  Coaching a buyer or seller how to play hardball in negotiations comes across as just big talk, unless they have skin in the game.  
I am helping a client of mine here in Sun City Texas located in Georgetown, TX make a home purchase.  My client is single and understandably wants the advice and counsel of close friends & advisors.  I am all for that and encourage buyers or sellers to use their support group to when making tough decisions.  After looking for about a month, my client and I narrowed down the choices to just two properties and it was time to bring in the advisors to give the properties their blessing.
