After a busy morning of church, grocery shopping, and attending an open house, my family and I decided to spend a few hours visiting Belle Isle in Richmond. Since the weather in Richmond VA today is 95 degrees, it was no surprise that everyone else had the same idea!
There are many things to do at Belle Isle in Richmond VA such as play in the sand, swim in the James River, take your dog for a walk on the paths, kayak, or just sit back and watch the smiles on the faces of everyone having FUN! My family decided to simply walk the pedestrian bridge than connects Belle Isle to the North bank of The James River and enjoy the scenery around us. My kids had a blast picking leaves from the grand Southern Magnolia trees and throwing sticks into the River. And, my husband and I took the opportunity to take some photos of the skyline of Richmond.
