Sarasota, Lido Beach Is An Ideal Vacation Spot
Living on the Space Coast and working in Cape Canaveral getting away for a long weekend does not have to be difficult. Our choices in Florida are numerous. So, we decided to take a long weekend to Sarasota, Lido Beach.
A three hour drive from our home, we arrived in the mid-afternoon and got our barrings. We checked out the hotel and the amenities. Sat on the beach as we waited for our room. Determined the walking distance to St. Armands Circle and later settled in our room.
Shy a mile from were we stayed, St. Armands Circle is filled with restaurants and shops. We walked to the Circle for breakfast and dinner everyday. We skipped lunch while spending the day on the beach.
While talking to visitors, they were surprised that we Floridians would visit other parts of Florida on our vacation. What they do not realize, you do not have to travel far to enjoy yourself in Florida. We have so many beautiful place to visit and Sarasota, Lido Beach Is An Ideal Vacation Spot.
