Foxtons Real Estate Gets Signed Documents in as Little as 7 Minutes
Recently, Foxtons, a real estate company for selling and renting property in the United Kingdom, discussed the benefits they've seen with electronic signatures and a secure online portal on their website.

Foxtons was looking for a solution that was going to help everyone involved in dealing with paperwork: owners, buyers, sellers and agents. With over 900 rental deals and 300 property sales per month, they needed a way to lessen the amount of work and time it took to acquire signatures.
“To deal with the volume we have, you need some pretty slick administrative systems,” Rafferty says. “That’s what we were after,” said Dan Rafferty, IT director at Foxtons.
Rafferty and his IT team normally work with a small team of engineers to design and implement home grown software systems, but decided to look for an external solution because they quickly realized they couldn't wait for a solution to be built. They evaluated three solutions and decided on EchoSign because it was the easiest to use.
“EchoSign was the most user-friendly,” he says. “If you sent it to a member of the public who hadn’t been briefed at all, they’d know how to use it.”
