What Do YOU Remember?

 
It started out as an ordinary work day. Sitting in the small corner office I rented from the local bank, I overheard several people talking about a plane crashing into a building in New York City. I ran down the street to inform my two employees at a second office. Before the day was over, almost 3,000 people had died and life had changed in America.
I will always remember I wanted to know my children and grandchildren were safe. I will always remember the fear I had until I could actually talk to each one of my family.  And the sadness of watching the thousands who were grieving over their lost loved ones, as we sat glued to the news for days on end, fearing the worst but hoping for the best. And the awe I felt watching the amazing heroes who selflessly worked rescue after rescue, many of them giving of their own lives as they sought to save another's life.
