Hollis New Hampshire Celebrates Old Home Days
      In 1899 by Gov. Frank West Rollins New Hampshire's Old Home Days was established to bring folks who had headed to the west back to the small towns of New Hampshire.    
    Old Home Days faded away in many parts of New Hampshire and was re-established in Hollis, New Hampshire in 1996 in commemoration of the town's 250th anniversary.   Today, there are at approximately 57 Old Home Days events throughout New Hampshire.
    This year, the Hollis Old Home Days begins Friday, September 14 starting at 5:00 P.M and ending at 9:00 p.m. on September 15  with the annual fire works display.
   Hollis Old Home Days will be held at Nichols Field on Depot Road in Hollis, NH.
Schedule of Events        
Friday, Sept. 14:
5-7 p.m. –  Tethered hot air balloon rides ($5 per person). 5-9 p.m. – Lizzi the Balloon Artist. 6-10 p.m. – Amusement rides and Midway open. 7-10 p.m. – Teen Dance with DJ Chip McConney of Paige2. Saturday, Sept. 15:
