Make sure kids follow the Avon Lake curfew this school year.
With School starting it is time when kids want ot hang out with their friends after sporting events and otehr community activities.  The Avon Lake Patch recently posted a reminder of the city curfew for kids based on age as follows:
The curfew for children 12 years of age and under is 10 p.m.
Youngsters 13 to 15 years of age have to be home by 11 p.m.
Hours are extended to 1 a.m. for those 16 to 17 years old.

Parents can understand that the idea of curfew helps maintain safer monitoring and care of our kids.  It also helps ease parents who struggle with the issue of setting times of "being home"
