October just wouldn't be October without a trip to a pumpkin patch. Whether you are decorating for autumn, carving for Halloween or cooking for pies, you've just got to get your fresh picked pumpkin. It's also harvest time in the Hood River Valley, so while you're at it, pick up a bushel of fresh apples or pears.
