Generations of Volunteers in the Historic Town of Dillsboro, NC
            Many of the buildings in the historic Town of Dillsboro, NC have flower boxes on the front.        For generations, merchants have been planting pansies in the boxes to brighten the town up.  Shirley's Boutique in Cannon's Corner...at the corner of Church Street and Front Street is no exception.        Over the 30 or so years she's been there, Shirley has been planting pansies and every year like clockwork the little volunteers pop up at the base of her building.     It's a nice notion to think that these volunteers are descendents of pansies past ;-D               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   ... more
