A Heretic Thought...
We are in awe that we have the first black president. We are weighing in and are ready to the awes of having a woman-president.We already had a close call...
Then we might want a poor president, or young president, or Jewish president, or “green” president…
There is always an underlying thought that they may also turn to be good presidents.
What about the heretic idea of choosing a stellar president, of any race and of any gender? As long as s/he is stellar?
I am sure that if we start looking for one, we may find a stellar one. But this is what we need to start looking for. A darn great President. Not the one who wants to make us smaller, or poorer, or weaker, or angrier, or unhappy...
