Vancouver Home Stager: The Quirky & Canadian at the IDS West Show 2012 Final
This year's Interior Design Show West (IDS West) Vancouver was truly a stellar exhibit. As a Vancouver Home Stager, it's extremely important to keep up with the trends and happenings in the design world. I was truly inspired, and plan on incorporating what I saw at the show into some of my staging designs. Here are more highlights of the show.
THE QUIRKY AND UNUSUAL
Like Dorothy going down the rabbit hole, I really enjoyed checking out some quirky, bizarre and unusual exhibits. I loved this giant, over-sized chair, provided by local furniture manufacturer, Van Gogh. And what a photo op!
It was seriously difficult to walk past the Luminosa exhibit without rubbernecking. Luminosa screamed "look at me" and rightly so. Every time I passed by, I had to smile. Ok, so I wouldn't do a home stage in these colours, but I certainly know about their boutique lighting showroom now, which is located in the Armoury District!
