Forest Hills in Wilmington, NC is one of the oldest communities that dates back to the 1900's.  Here you find charm, magnificent live oaks, gorgeous magnolia trees and beautiful gardens.  The homes in Forest Hills are grand, stately, large and small.  You will see styles such as Georgian, Tudor, Cape Cod and Colonial as well as brick walkways, sidewalks, southern porches with rocking chairs and massive columns.    Once you enter the community you know you are in one of the areas premier areas.  The moss draped trees make a canopy as you drive, run or walk down its roadways.
Each year Wilmington's Azalea Festival features garden tours and Forest Hills is one of the front runners when it comes to participation.   This is a wonderful community convenient to downtown, the riverfront, restaurants, and Wrightsville Beach.   This a serene community  and one which has its own neighborhood elementary school.    Forest Hills definitely made its mark on the map in 2011 when Dwayne Johnson and Michael Caine came to town to film the movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
