Closing gifts to cooperating AGENTS!

 
I've received thank you cards from other agents and sometimes from title companies at the conclusion of a successful transaction, and I've received emails from lenders. One local agent, however, outshines everyone when she hand-delivers a freshly baked loaf of bread, bread she bakes herself and that often is still warm when she brings it. She brought two loafs to my office this week in honor of recent closings we shared.
I am on a low carb (low just about everything) diet following my recent heart surgery, but you can bet that I sat down and enjoyed a buttered, warm slice of Betty Lou Vogel's bread, nevertheless. Betty's generosity reminded me that I really need to be far more thankful for the hard-working agents on the other side of every deal. She's a classy lady, and she has been a local real estate leader for many successful years in the local market.
