Staging a home for sale? Remember to hire a professional photographer!Recently, I was talking with a home stager who mentioned one of the jobs she completed and said perhaps I have a client who would be interested in the property which she thought was underpriced for the area.So I checked it out....and gave her some feedback.
The good: the seller has invested in the staging The bad: the agent didn’t hire a professional photographer. Further, the agent didn’t include a picture of the house (but she included a picture of the interior of the garage!)
Can you guess which is which?Which photo was taken by an agent using  a PhD (push here, dummy) camera and which one  was taken by a professional photographer? The impact is just as pronounced between a staged and a non-staged property.
Look at it another way: which photo would you prefer to represent YOU? Which one would you show off to a potential client as an example of what you can do to market a property?
