Thanksgiving Memories in Tucson, AZ - your Destination Location.
I remember my first Thanksgiving in Tucson, AZ very clearly.  It was 1998, and it was wet, cold, and snowy in my "home" town near Green Bay, WI.  My son and I flew down for a few days with Grandma and my sister Renee.
My first memory was the reaction my son had when we awoke.  Coming in to town in the dark, he had no idea what to expect. Up for an early morning walk, he was amazed at the misty view ahead of him on the street.

He was thinking Tucson was more like this:

My second memory was of being out on the patio, giving him an early morning haircut, and it was 70 degrees.  To us mid-western folk - well that was a gift from God.  A fantastic way to start a holiday, basking in the warmth.  I tell you, we were thankful for that 70 degrees!
The rest continues on more traditional - my sister served up some variations on Thanksgiving fare that I remember with mouth-watering memories to this day.  Especially sweet were the caramelized onions and fresh baked garlic she'd added to the mashed potatoes...mmmm.
