Camas welcomes Harvest and Iron Chef Winner We’re getting a new restaurant in downtown Camas soon. Former Iron Chef winner, Tim McCusker will open “Harvest,” next to the Camas Hotel on the corner of 4th Avenue and Cedar Street. The restaurant is in the same spot as Olivers, which closed in September. Chef McCusker describes his menu as “family friendly comfort food.” However, he also promises innovative and exciting dishes such as pork shank “osso bucco” style, local braised beef, and hot butcher blocks of duck breast filled with blackberry jam. McCusker has lived in the Camas area for four years and his restaraunt co-owners are his wife and a former neighbor. The group promises to treat people the way they want to be treated - and plans to know their patrons names while creating a warm ambiance.
Chef McCusker's Harvest is a perfect addition for downtown Camas Tim grew up in Northern Ireland, Spain and England where he helped his parents with their pub and hotel businesses.
