When sellers misbehave, will listing agent come to the rescue?We’ve all had our share of sellers who gave us a hard time. So how do we handle?It started well enough
The sellers liked my buyers, and remembered us when we submitted our offer. We felt good that they liked us best. So it was on to escrow!
But some problems started to manifest
My buyers wanted to augment the home inspection (ordered by the seller) by doing their own buyer investigation. The sellers would not leave us alone. They followed us in every room, and kept talking and interrupting so that my buyers and I couldn’t discuss anything in private.

We also noted a very strong odor throughout the house: weed!
We’re closing escrow. So move out!
Tuesday before close of escrow, we did our buyer walk-through, and we were dismayed to see that the buyers still had a lot of their things at the house and in the garage.

The listing agent was upset as well.

Friday after escrow closed, we went to the house and saw the sellers and their moving truck at the property -- they were still moving! Furthermore, the house ... more
