South Bay Area Holiday Events

Palos Verdes homes owners are just “next door” to some fabulous holiday events of our surrounding neighbors. Below are some fun activities for us to enjoy.
If you like going back in time, you will enjoy the “Victorian Christmas” at the Banning Museum.  This event will take place on Saturday, December 1, and Sunday, December 2, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During this special weekend the grounds and museum are transformed into a Christmas festival with Victorian period entertainment.  They will have self-guided tours of the museum, children’s crafts, refreshments, and a visit from St. Nick.  One of the special highlights will be the horse-drawn trolley ride between the Banning Museum and the Drum Barracks at the Civil War Museum.  The admission is free, and for more information call (310) 548-7777.  The Banning Museum is located at 401 E.
