A Christmas Poinsetta is a great holiday centerpiece.
 

The Mental Health Association in Abilene sells Poinsettas each year before Christmas and I got this beautiful plant delivered to me today. 
The Christmas card came in the mail today from the Abilene Association of Realtors. 
 
Place the poinsetta and the Christmas card on a red placemat  and you have an instant dining table centerpiece for the holidays.  The poinsetta need a little water every few days but usually do just fine to last till Christmas.
