Autosuggestion is Not a Town in Detroit
As I mentioned in an earlier blog I am reading (again), or actually listening to Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, the original publication from 1937, on my daily walks.  I thought I would write a little summary or thought for the day from each chapter (links below):

As I listened to Chapter 4 (Autosuggestion) today, I reflected on the previous chapter’s discussion about faith and the state of mind induced by self-suggestion.  Autosuggestion is the self-talk that filters through to the subconscious and the more we control what gets through this filter, the better off we are.
This chapter is really the instructions on how to practice and improve our ability to filter and to use autosuggestion in order to complete the six steps that were described in chapter 2 and the self-confidence formula in chapter 3.
Once again, this chapter has actions steps that will help us achieve our goal and to stimulate our subconscious mind.  The remainder of this chapter takes the six steps from the second chapter and blends them with the principles of autosuggestion.
