Fish Creek Lights the Christmas Tree this Weekend
 
If you haven't visited Fish Creek, Wisconsin, you really haven't experienced Door County. Fish Creek is the commercial center of the Town of Gibraltar, and a "must visit" on any trip to the Door Peninsula. From Founder's Square with its incredible year-round shopping, to Door County mainstays like The Cookery, The Bayside, and The White Gull Inn, Fish Creek is a beautiful part of the Door Peninsula…and never more so when decked in its holiday brightest. 
This weekend, the Gibraltar Historical Association will present “Once Upon a Christmas” on Sunday, December 16th, 2012 at 6 p.m.  There will be a tree lighting at 6 p.m. at Noble Square in the heart of Fish Creek, and then a light supper to follow at the Old Town Hall near the Alibi Dock.  Christmas carols and Mrs. Claus will be present, along with friends and businesses from the community.  The supper is $2.00 for children and $4.00 for adults (for more information call 920-868-9335).  See old friends and meet new ones!  This is a fantastic reason to visit Door County and experience Fish Creek during the holidays.
