San Ramon Unified School District - Homes and Real Estate Near Schools
The San Ramon Valley Unified School District is a little bit different then your typical neighborhood schools that may cover elementary and middle schools. This particular school district covers several different cities including San Ramon, Alamo, Danville, BlackHawk and Diablo, as well as portions of Walnut Creek and Pleasanton. It incorporates all these different cities into one San Ramon Valley unified school district although completely encompassed within Contra Costa County.
This school district offers 35 different school sites serving over 30,000 students. It’s ranked at the top 5% of all the school districts in the entire state of California and the top 2% of all unified districts. We are currently ranked sixth among all unified school districts in the state of California and we have the highest ranking school district in the state with enrollment of over 9000. We have an enormous amount of graduating seniors, over 94%, they go on to attend the college or university. Our school district has also been awarded the California distinguished school award which is given out by the California State Board of Education to represent exemplary and quality educational programs.
