The Active Adult 55+ Real Estate Market Report for June 2012 includes all active adult 55+ communities in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach & Lake Worth.  The report is broken down into detached and attached homes in these senior housing communities or baby boomer communities.
 
All information was obtained from the Multiple Listing Service and sold by various MLS participants.  It is deemed accurate but not guaranteed or warranted. This report does not include any private sales.
 
In November 2012 there were a total of 278 homes sold, 26 less than last month.  Here is the breakdown - 70 Detached; 208 Attached. 
 
 
 
As of November 30, 2012 were 929 Active Listings for sale in Active Adult 55+ communities in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Lake Worth, FL.  There were 172 Contingent Sales, meaning they were under contract but not all conditions of the contracts had been met yet.  And, there were 148 Pending Sales waiting to close.
 
In my opinion, we remain in a price-driven market.  Closed sales reflect prices in attached homes rose this month while prices in single family homes decreased ... more
