Year End Organization Tips
I just read an article that said everyone likes opening up an unmarked planner on January 1st and ringing in the New Year by replacing old photos and coffee mugs on their desk with the new ones received over the holidays. The act of "starting again" is therapeutic and rejuvenating. Reorganizing your workspace and starting on a fresh page both figuratively and literally heightens motivation and leads to an increase in productivity. 

 
 
 
That's all very true. But it also holds true for reorganizing and rejuvenating your house. By taking the time to do this each year you will be eons ahead if and when it comes time to sell the home. One of the reasons so many people hold off selling is because they are overwhelmed by the amount of work needed to just get it ready to sell. 
 
 
 
To begin, take inventory of what's in your closets, cabinets, cupboards and drawers.  Then decide what is unnecessary, outdated or needs replacing. Once you've purged those items, reorganize what is left.
