My First Blog
I'm not sure exactly how this works...not sure if anyone will even listen...but as my mother always says, "What does it hurt to try?"  She's right and I'm trying my first Blog right here on ActiveRain.
First of all I'd like to thank Donna Harris of Dallas, TX for inviting me.  I never would have known about this site and their marketing effort without her.  Donna--I truly appreciate your thinking of me and inviting me.  Thank you!
So what to write?  The market is the market...can't change that.  OK then, let's talk change.  If you can't change the real estate market, what can you change?  The answer to that is simple really.  You can only change the things you have control over.  So if something isn't working right in your real estate business, or your life for that matter...change it...try something new.  Several years ago, I left a 20 year career in customer service and human resources to move into real estate.  Friends thought I was nuts giving up my great job with good benefits.  I didn't care...I wanted something new...I needed a challenge...and I couldn't be happier with my decision.
