Friend says "Use ONLY the short sale listing agent to win property'"
"My friend said use only the listing agent on a short sale to make sure I get it."

These “friends” can give the most inane advice.
A buyer was told by his friend to “use only the listing agent to make sure that he can get his offer accepted and the short sale approved.”
When asked how can this friend be so sure?
The buyer said that his friend bought a short sale property and that’s how he managed to get it -- by using the listing agent to write his offer for him.
When asked how many short sale properties the friend has bought, the answer was just that one.
Can someone who just learned how to climb rocks now know how to teach others how to do it?
So how could that person make this statement that only the listing agent can successfully help the buyer conclude a short sale transaction?
Why believe a layman who has completed only one short sale purchase, and not a seasoned short sale realtor who lists and sells short sales day in and day out, for years.
