Dahlonega Lumpkin County Georgia Real Estate Report Dec. 2012.
 
First MLS is listing 21 closed sales for December in Lumpkin County. Out of 21 closed sales 11 were foreclosures and there were several short sells also. We have 207 homes listed for sell and an additional 38 under contract. The highest sales price was $383,000 and was in Achasta. The lowest sales price was $24,000 at 188 Old Leathers Ford Road
The townhouse / condo section has 17 active listings, one more under contract and two closed sells for December. One in The Summit, it closed for $165,000 which was the full asking price and the other in Mountain Park for $120,000.
There are 190 lots on the market and three more that are under contract. There was one closed sell. It was 3.5 Acres on Spring Valley Trace. The sales price was $21,000.
The land farm section of the MLS also has plenty of listings. There are 90 active, 5 under contract and 2 closed sells. The highest was 20.3 Acres that sold for $340,000. It was on Jack Walker Rd. It had good mountain views and joined the national forest. The other was 13 acres on Spring Hollow, it sold for $75,000. ... more
